A 20-year long history of successful growth and development of Ferrum, LLC.

The history of the Company begins in July of 2000 with establishing a trading company in the city of Nizhny Novgorod that specialized in supply of rolled metal products for shipbuilding and ship repair. This sphere of business was not randomly selected. While it seemed unattractive to other entrepreneurs, we realized at that point that a new stage of development was taking place in the field of shipbuilding and ship repair. At that time large metallurgical plants experienced difficulties with the sale of their products, and the once huge shipyards, which consumed most of the metal, divided into small enterprises that required a lot less.

The company’s work began with the study of the needs of Nizhny Novgorod ship repair organizations and generation of a minimum stock that could satisfy needs of our customers.

2001

One of the most important fields in the Company's business is the integrated supply of shipbuilding rolled metal, chain and anchor products, and enamel used in ship building and repair.

2002

As additional service field, the Company is developing long-distance road transportation across Russia, as well as wagon and container transportation within the country.

2005

The number of loyal customers has increased to 150 compared to 25 in 2002. The stock of metal products is maintained at 2.500 tons.

2007

Ferrum, LLC opens a warehouse terminal in St. Petersburg, which allows to attract more customers from the North-Western region of Russia.

2012

Ferrum, LLC opens its own production and a warehousing complex with a total space of 21,000 sq.m. in the territory of Zavolzhsky Motor Plant, PJSC (city of Zavolzhye).

2015

The company launches its own metal preservation line. Shot blasting and priming of metal is carried out using the equipment of the German company Rösler.

2017

FERRUM jointly with Omutninsky Metallurgical Plant, JSC launches offset bulb flats production and is the only authorized dealer in Russia and the CIS.

2018

The company opens additional storage terminals in Lipetsk, Taganrog and Belgorod. The stock of metal products now exceeds 5000 tons.

2019

The number of regular customers of Ferrum, LLC reaches 500. The annual sales volume of rolled metal is 40,000 tons. Since incorporation, more than 600,000 tons of metal have been sold.

2020

The annual sales volume of rolled metal is 80,000 tons. Since incorporation, more than 700,000 tons of metal have been sold.

2021

The Rösler metal rolling processing line has been purchased, which allows processing products up to 3200 mm wide and up to 12000 mm long with any type of soil in accordance with the requirements of the international quality standard ISO 8501-1 and the requirements of primer manufacturers and customer needs.

2022

Despite the deterioration of economic and monetary business conditions, the company managed to end the year with a profit. The sales volume was about 50,000 tons.

Ferrum's partners are the largest metallurgical plants in Russia.
